Recover access

A teacher login already exists. Recovery is locked until you prove server access via FTP.

This stops strangers on the internet from resetting your teacher password.

In FileZilla, open the data folder and upload an empty file named RECOVERY_UNLOCK (full path: data/RECOVERY_UNLOCK).
Reload this page — restore and password reset will appear.
After you finish, the unlock file is deleted automatically.

Anyone without FTP access cannot create that file, so public reset stays closed.
